sleepover

I have been a house and pet sitter for 15+years. I have experience with cats and dogs of all sizes, breeds, temperaments, ages, abilities and health records. I recently moved to the Netherlands to be with my Dutch partner, Axel. Axel is the only other person that lives in the home and we have one male cat of our own.I am looking to take care of some great animals in my free time as I am currently unemployed while I learn Dutch and begin my integration process. I am experienced with giving medication and live really close to the beautiful Hitland park which is perfect for walks, play and fetch. We are a smoke free home. Your pets would stay in our closed in home, and sleep on whatever pet bed is provided either in the living area or in our bedroom with us. Meal and medication times for your pets can be at whatever intervals you choose. We do not currently have a back yard or garden but have grassy areas right outside as well has the park mentioned above.Pets will have near 24/7 supervision as I am currently unemployed and my partner works from home. My services include- overnights in my home (cats only), check ins, walks, and day care available all day.I can administer medication but am unable to provide bathing. We can walk the pets as frequently as needed. We can currently host up to two animals at a time depending on size. No large breeds, no unspayed/neutered animals. Puppies and kittens are welcome. Thank you!

Hello, pet lovers!

About me
I'm Mihyeon, living in the Netherlands after my master's degree. I'm Korean who has grown with dogs throughout my childhood ️, which already can explains how much I'm close to pets🩷.
I'm a trustworthy person who always do my best for everything. You can take my words and leave your adorable family up to me without any worries .
When I am available: Anytime! (Check my availability on calendar )
What I can offer : Dog walking, Combing, Home visits (+watering plants, Overnight care)
Preference : dogs (small~middle)
Experience
I used to volunteer for stray dogs in South Korea but I found the Netherlands doesn't have them, which amazes me a lot️ Pets on the streets always catch my eyes, while I miss my dog so much in my home country.
I can read what dogs want from us and what I can do for them. I feel emotionally attached with any dog and can give pure affection! It goes without saying how much I like strolling with them . It would be honor for me if I can spend time with your pet!
(Ps. I am not experienced in large dogs yet 🥲)

Animals have always been a central part of my life. Growing up surrounded by cats, dogs, birds, and even chickens and roosters, I learned from a young age how to understand their needs, behaviors, and emotions. Over the years, I have personally taken care of more than ten cats, including supporting my cat Mia through giving birth and raising her kittens. I have also cared for dogs such as Panic and Ati in my home for extended periods, ensuring they felt safe, calm, and loved while their owners were away.

My experience goes beyond the basics—I know how to handle young, elderly, anxious, and pregnant animals with patience and confidence. I’ve bottle-fed kittens, comforted scared pets during storms, monitored special diets, and maintained clean, healthy environments for every animal I care for. My approach is gentle, attentive, and grounded in empathy. Animals naturally feel comfortable with me, and I treat every pet as a member of my own family.

If you’re looking for someone reliable, nurturing, and truly passionate about animal wellbeing, I would be honored to care for your pets. Your companions will receive safety, affection, and responsible attention every moment they are with me.

My husband and I moved to the Netherlands, where I am pursuing my Master's degree and he is working in IT (after obtaining his Master's in Engineering).
I am a German and South African citizen. We have extensive experience with pets, having done 10+ petsits in the Netherlands and having our own cat (we both also grew up with a variety of dogs and cats including Golden Retrievers, Dachshunds, Jack Russells, German Shepherds, Siamese cats and Tabby cats).
We love being around animals and are familiar with the care and responsibilities involved in looking after them.
Our own beloved cat is still in South Africa as we just moved over and we miss her dearly. We would be delighted to care for your pets and ensure they receive the love and attention they deserve.
If you have any questions or need more information, please feel free to reach out
Please get in touch—I look forward to meeting you and keeping your pets happy, safe, and settled.

I've always loved animals and during my whole childhood we always had both cats and dogs in the family. As an adult, I decided to adopt a kitten in 2017, who was my best friend till he moved to cat-heaven.Because of already having a cat, and also travelling quite a lot, I could not responsibly take a dog. However I was missing dogs' company. That's how I decided to apply for dog walking volunteer job at the animal shelter in Gouda. I walked all kinds of dogs there every week for 6 month. As I recently moved to Capelle aan den IJssel, sadly I had to give up my dog walker job in Gouda.I would be the happiest to take walks with your dog in the area. :) I am working from home on Mondays and Wednesdays, so even a lunch break walk is possible those days, or evening and mornings as well as weekends and weekdays as needed and as we agree. Also happy to take care of cats and dogs in their own home or at my place. I'm very flexible.
