I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember. When I was little, I was so obsessed that I used to hand my toy dogs to my dad so he could walk ahead of me, just so I could pretend I was walking them myself. I’ve grown up surrounded by family friends’ dogs and have spent most of my formative years learning everything about them. I think I have grown to understand how to read their behaviour, body language and personalities.
My own dog was brought into our home as a result of my persuasion and pestering over 11 years of my life and so once we got him, I have been very actively involved in his life. He is a very lively cocker spaniel-poodle mix so I’m used to energetic dogs who need both mental and physical stimulation. I’m also experienced with older, slower and more sensitive dogs who need patience, calmness and extra care having looked after our friends' old labrador for the last five years of his life. On walks, I make sure dogs get the right balance of exercise, sniffing time and engagement, adjusting the pace depending on age, fitness and confidence levels. Nervous dogs are always given space, reassurance and calm guidance, while more energetic ones benefit from structure, recall practice and playful interaction. Over the years I’ve also cared for older and more sensitive dogs, ensuring gentler walks and plenty of comfort. I’ve regularly looked after dogs for friends and family, including golden retrievers, labradors and whippets, so I’m confident in adapting to different breeds and needs. I love seeing how different dogs have such different personalities and getting to understand them better. Additionally, I am an active person myself, loving the outdoors and I miss my own dog greatly when at university; dog sitting is the perfect opportunity to give the care and attention I am used to giving to my own dog to yours!
When house sitting, safety and routine come first. I make sure to maintain feeding schedules, keep environments secure, and make sure dogs are never left unsupervised in unfamiliar situations. I prioritise calm handling, secure lead walking, name-tag checks and awareness of surroundings when outdoors.
My motivation for pet sitting is simple: I genuinely love spending time with dogs, and I want owners to feel completely at ease knowing their pets are happy, safe and loved. I treat every dog as if they were my own, and I’m committed to making their time with me positive and stress-free. Dogs are incredible at reading human emotions and body language which is why they are such great companions and I am passionate about giving them the best company in return. Moreover, I understand that dogs often function on routine and therefore I am happy to follow any routines you already have in place.
I offer both dog walking and house sitting, and I’m always happy to dedicate the time, energy and attention needed to make sure your dog is comfortable and cared for.

My name is Sara, I am french and I am 28 years old.
I currently live in Maastricht, in the city center, close to the Bonnefanten museum.
I love animals, especially dogs ! My parents have an Australian shepherd that I love very much. I don't get to see him often, as my parents live in France. I also live in an appartment, so it is not ideal to have my own dog there.
I would love to take your dog on a walk after work or come babysit him/her !
I really miss having contact with animals in my daily life, so this would be a perfect way for me to connect with animals !
I really enjoy being outdoors and going for walks in the nature, since I live close to the Maas so it is easily accessible.
Overall, I am just a dog lover looking to make some new adorable furry friends !

I’m a student living in Maastricht with a big love for dogs and lots of experience caring for them. I grew up in a dog-loving household and had two dogs while growing up, so being around wagging tails, muddy paws, and daily walks has always been part of my life. My family still has a dog who lives with my parents, and I love spending time with them whenever I’m home.
Over the years, I’ve cared for many different breeds, sizes, and personalities from energetic dogs who never seem to run out of battery to calmer pups who prefer cuddles over chaos. I understand that every dog is unique, and I always take the time to get to know their routines, quirks, and favorite activities.
Whether it’s long walks, playtime, feeding, or just keeping your dog company, I make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved. I treat every dog as if they were my own and aim to create a relaxed, fun, and caring environment, so you can enjoy your time away knowing your dog is in good hands (and probably having a great time too!).
Walks for my own dog are usually 45 minutes to 1 hour, but if your pet needs more or less time, just let me know and I will accommodate to your pets needs!

Hi! My name is Ashley, and caring for animals is truly at the heart of who I am. With years of hands-on experience as a pet transportation and care specialist, I’ve built my career around ensuring pets feel safe, loved, and stress-free—whether they’re traveling across the country or settling in for a cozy stay.My passion for pet sitting stems from a deep respect for the bond between pets and their people. I know how important it is to leave your furry family member in trusted hands, and that’s exactly what I strive to offer. Every pet in my care is treated like my own—with patience, kindness, and attention to their unique needs.I’m trained in Pet CPR, First Aid, and medication administration, and I do require that pets be up to date on vaccinations to keep everyone safe. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or cuddle sessions, I’m here to provide reliable, loving care you can count on. My services range from local pet sitting, dog walking, pet transportation and relocation, to overnight care with the use of Tractive GPS trackers so you know where your pet is at all times whether that be down the street for a walk or across the country, you have access to real time tracking of your furry (or furless!) family member. I have worked with breeders since 2017 to safely transport pets from California to Florida and across the United States to their new homes. I'm excited to now offer my services across Europe and the United Kingdom and internationally for pet parents relocating from the United States.

Hi! My name is Maria, and I’m a true animal lover with a soft spot for both dogs and cats. Growing up, I always had pets around—my home was full of love, fur, and wagging tails. Since moving away, I really miss having pets of my own, and that’s why pet sitting is so special to me. Spending time with animals genuinely makes me happy, and I’ve found that they tend to feel the same way about me!
I offer reliable and loving care for your pets, whether it's daily walks, feeding visits, or just some extra cuddle time while you’re away. I know how important it is to feel peace of mind when leaving your pets with someone, and I always treat them like part of my own family.
Yes, I have experience with different breeds and temperaments, and I welcome only vaccinated pets into my care to keep everyone safe and healthy. I look forward to meeting your furry friend soon!

Hey Dear Dog Owner!
My name is Franka and I'm a 21 year old second-year Psychology student. I have a 2 year old poodle back at home, who is living with my parents, therefore I unfortunately can't see her as often anymore, ever since starting my studies here in Maastricht. I really enjoy spending time with her and animals in general, therefore I had the idea to combine that with offering my help on here.
I am used to walking and taking care of different kinds of dogs, since we had another dog before Camilla, which was a Kromforländer. Also, back at home I often met up with my friends, to go on joined walks, with my dog and their dogs. Herr in Maastricht I used to walk my neighbors dog, who is a Mastiff. All of these dogs have a very different personality, mine for example is very easily scared so it is important to pay close attention to details that might scare her, to be prepared for a possible reaction. In general I think it is important to notice these differences in personality, to make sure to be safe on walks.
I also had Camilla living with me over multiple period of time before. Whenever my parents go on vacation or have to be somewhere, where they can't take her, she stays with me, which always works out great and is fun for both of us ;)
Besides the dog passion I like being outside in general, I enjoy walks and spending time at parks or near the water, preferably with my friends, my boyfriend or my family. I love having coffee and tea, therefore I often meet up with friends in one of the many great Cafés here in Maastricht.
Feel free to reach out to me, whenever you could use some help. Also, if you have any questions, I'm happy to answer anything! I'm looking forward to meeting you and your dog!
Best, Franka

I am a dedicated and loving pet sitter with a genuine passion for animals. As a dachshund owner, I have hands-on experience caring for a dog with a strong personality, which has helped me learn the importance of patience, consistency, and understanding individual needs. I truly enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy.

I offer attentive pet sitting services, including daily walks, home visits, and personalized care. During walks, I adapt the pace and length to each pet’s energy level, making sure they get both exercise and mental stimulation in a safe and calm way. For home visits, I focus on maintaining the pet’s routine by providing feeding, fresh water, playtime, and lots of affection, while also keeping their environment clean and comfortable.

I am comfortable caring for pets with different personalities, whether they are energetic and playful or shy and reserved. I take the time to build trust, especially with nervous pets, by letting them approach at their own pace. For health and safety reasons, I only accept vaccinated pets. My goal is to provide reliable, loving care so pet owners can feel confident and worry-free while they are away.

Hello!! I'm Audrey, first-year student in Maastricht. I have two dogs at home in Belgium (where I'm originally from), it's two shiba inu . I have been a dog lover since I was little and really missing mine from home... That is why I would be thrilled to take care of your pets, whether it's for a walk in the park, playtime, or for feeding them at your place if needed !!
I enjoy spending time with dogs, taking care of them on long walks, and making sure they are happy and well cared for. I would love to do the same for your pet!
I'm available during the week and the weekends the most of the time. I am more comfortable with dogs (small or large) than cats, as I've never really experience cats before.
Don't hesitate to contact me for any extra information !!
Thank you for trusting me and helping me fill my "pets attention" gap

Hi,
Groetjes Anne

My name is Elisa, and I am currently a student at Maastricht University. I speak English and German fluently, but I also have some knowledge of Dutch. Up until now, I have always had pets and dogs around me. Prior to moving to Maastricht, I worked as a dog sitter and walker for three years. I gathered experience with a variety of dog breeds, such as herding, hound, sporting, and companion dogs.
Now, I sincerely miss my own dog and spending quality time with animals. Since I not only love animals but also nature, I think I might be a great fit for your dog. I believe proper walks through nature and fun playtime are at the core of every dog's happiness. I hope I can bring your dogs just as much joy as they bring me. For you, as a pet owner, I would like to be a trustworthy support in making sure you are at ease while your pet is under my care.
