Hello All!!

I am a 31 year old mother originally from Canada and I have a 9 year old daughter who is also Canadian. I moved abroad in August 2016 to pursue my studies in gaining a Bachelor of Arts in Culinary Arts at Limerick Institute of Technologies in Limerick, Ireland. I completed my studies by doing a 6 month internship in the Netherlands and lived there for a little more than a year. I moved to Belgium with my boyfriend, daughter and our kittie Kaatje this summer past and I decided to join Pawshake to pass some time and I see it is a good opportunity to enjoy some company of other animals. I just moved back to the Netherlands and I would like to continue with Pawshake and taking care of animals.

Here is a little bit more information about me to help you decide if I would be a perfect match for caring for your pet(s)!

I have always loved to cook, my whole family are cooks. We love to feed people. Hence the reason I decided to pursue, but I always had a passion or soft side for animals. I can not see an animal in distress. For some years, I have taken care of them and I have them all forever homes. Now, I can not say that I am an expert in care for animals, but I am able to give basic care and most importantly, love them as they are my own.

Some things that I can offer as a pet sitter, basic care: feed and water them; grooming - bathing, brushing; cleaning their areas, take them on walks or jogges (if preferred), vet visits or appointments, and most importantly play and snuggle them. If you like children, my daughter would be happy to assist me in our visits. My boyfriend is also very helpful as he has studied Wildlife Conservation and is Dutch speaking. You can always request that I do other things above what I need if you need, please just ask!

I hope you enjoyed learning a little about me and feel comfortable to contact me to care for your pet. If you would like more information, feel free to ask. I can speak and understand some Dutch, however my knowledge of the language is limited. I do have translators close at hand if needed.
