Hello, I come from the Himalayas where my grandparents had various cattle and livestock. Growing up around animals helped me nurture compassion and empathy. I find my solace around them which has also motivated me to seek opportunities to spend time with them and contribute to making their lives better. With my busy university life, I have felt an urge to arrange a way that I would be able to spend time with animals. So I started to volunteer to take care of pets of people whenever they require. I started with 2 Persian cats of my piano teacher on the weekends and eventually after building trust I started doing the same with my neighbours.
Prior to coming to the Netherlands, I did my masters in the UK where I walked and took care of a beautiful german shepherd for a lady who wasn't able to do it anymore due to her health condition.
I also walked a labrador for a gentleman who had his surgery and wasn't able to continue the walks. Since then, I feel walking and sitting dogs is a better alternative when I am staying at a place for a shorter duration.
I work a 9-5 job. With the given COVID circumstances, I am able to work from home 1-2 days a week which has allowed me to pick it up again. I work from home on Thursdays and sometimes on Tuesdays. On the days that I work from home, I am very flexible with time. Apart from these days, Fridays are also good for me.
I can take care of your pet which could be walks, feeding or supervision. I am unable to take pets to my house unfortunately due to the rules set by my landlord. Prior, I use to spend about 1-2 hrs for walks. I can make changes after discussing individual needs. I have no pet-related allergies and don't mind getting a little dirty while helping/cleaning the pet.
All in all, I hope that I could make a good friend for your pet :)
I am very patient and pretty flexible with my time.
