After working as a marine engineer for the last 20 years and with 40 looming, I decided to give it up and change completely to work full time with animals which I love, so I can be available anytime of day and at short notice. I have previously owned a border terrier, border collie, black Labrador and Lab/Rottweiler cross, and currently two Maine Coon cats. I am reliable and am used to a position of responsibility, I love being outdoors and I love taking care of animals and providing for their needs. I am flexible in my approach, and can tailor the care to suit you and your pet‘s needs and requirements. I can continue your rules and training if needed, and am able to control and discipline to the level you require. For dog walking I can tailor routes to match your own or to avoid areas or situations your dog finds unpleasant or stressful. For cat care I can provide play and stimulation to match what they are used to normally. I offer overnight stays In your home so your pet is used to their own environment, if they are nervous or have social requirements I will tailor the stay to meet their needs as needed, and you will receive regular updates if you wish. I live near Leidseplein and Vondelpark and can easily travel to areas of the city on my bike. No breed is unwelcome.
