My name is Dunja, I am 32 year old dog lover and since I cannot have a dog at the moment I decided to apply for a dog-sitter. My dog I have already described in "my pets" which I hope is visible to other users on the website. So far I have been pet-sitting for friends, mostly a wonderful golden retriever for a few days and it always worked very well.

I have grown up with dogs, I first had a mixed breed medium sized female dog, from early childhood til around 12-13. Then I had a boxer dog which lived very long (taking the breed into consideration), until I was 25. I believe the secret is not spoiling the dogs too much, they were treated like family and our family had tasks and was well brought up and mannered.

None of our dogs were ever aggressive, the last two are even a bit silly and extremely cheerful, so rellying on them to "keep the house safe" would be exaggerated but we could always count on them to cheer us (and any guests) up! they would always enjoy petting and were the best company a person can ask for. 

I want to be a pet-sitter to fill in the void of not having my own pet here since I have moved from Serbia to Netherlands. I travel home at least 4-5 times a year and work (~7-16:30) quite a bit so I think for now it would be a bit cruel to have a dog of my own. BUT, I can share my love and care for your dog in my free time!

P.S. I always talk to dogs in my native language cause I am sure they all speak it! :)
