My name is Micaela Schenck. I moved to The Netherlands in August of 2022 with my husband. Originally from South Africa, I grew up in a house with a big garden and four dogs! My husband and I also have a beautiful (but energetic) Jack Russell who we sadly had to leave at home before moving abroad. I have plenty of experience of taking care of my own dogs (feeding them, taking them for walks, doing regular checkups at the vet, behaviour management, dog training, etc).

I have a deep love for all dogs. From first hand experience, I understand the pure joy and love that dogs bring into peoples lives. That being said, I also know that people have busy lives and they do not always have the flexibility to be home to look after their dogs and take them for walks during the day.

As I work from home, I have great flexibility and autonomy in how I manage my time. I would love to help people out by letting their dogs keep me company while I work from home (it's a win win situation).

My services include, but are not limited to, the following:

🐶Dog walks - walks will last about 20-30 mins. However, this is also dependent on how long your dog generally walks for. Dog Walks will take place in the scenic park opposite my apartment or close to Hasgse Bos.

🐶 Doggy Daycare - for dogs who are staying for the day, this will also include walks based on how long your dog stays for. I will be sure that your dog always has access to water. I will also feed them accordingly.

🐶 Doggy Boarding - This includes overnight stays at my home to look after your dog. I will walk your dog accordingly, feed them, ensure they have access to water, and administer medication where required. For boarding, your dog will not be alone for longer than one hour maximum.

🐶Picture Updates - if you're anything like me and your gallery is full of pictures of your doggo, I am happy to send you pictures of how your dog is doing throughout our time together!

My husband and I live in a beautiful 2 bedroom apartment in Voorburg which has a park directly opposite it, making it ideal for dog walks. Our apartment is spacious and ideal for a small to medium dog. Our apartment is situated close to Haagse Bos, here I can take your dog on a lovely scenic walk.
