Hi, my name is Lígia! I am a Brazilian girl living in Den Bosch and I really do love animals! I have had dogs since I can remember myself and they have all played very special parts in my life. In 2013 this one little cat crossed my way and completely changed my life! A tiny baby tuxedo kitty made me fall in love with cats and develop awareness about the animal suffering on the streets of my city in Brazil. So I began an independent rescue project entitled "Anonymous Cats" (@gatosanonimosfloripa) that has now rescued, cared, sterilized and rehomed almost 4.000 stray cats. By working with street animals I have learn how to love and respect them even more, but also how to care for them.

Today I teach others how to improve the convivial with their pets, how to understand the signs they give us, their language and how to understand what they need and want. Also, I feel comfortable caring for pets with special needs such as handling medical requirements like giving medicine, caring for wounds, post-surgery etc, always respecting the singularity and space of every single one of them.
