We are a friendly young couple

located in a spacious pet-friendly apartment in the heart of Rotterdam. We both dearly care about dogs and cats as both of us were raised around animals. We are both working in Rotterdam for a temporary time and would love to help fellow pet owners by hosting them for any given time, taking them for walks, caring for them, feeding them, and even take care of other specific requests.

About us:

I (Emmanuel, 22) am a Belgian expatriate, born in the suburbs of Antwerp. I speak Dutch, French and English. I moved to Rotterdam with my partner at the start of February for work. I currently work at Lendahand, a firm focused on impact investing in emerging countries (for example, investing in women owned businesses in Kenya or sustainable farming methods in Uganda). I have a very flexible working environment where I can choose to go to the office or work from home, therefore I am able to accommodate pet in-sitting during weekdays and working hours. I was raised with labradors, cats and a french bulldog and I have come to understand the patience and care such pets truly deserve.

My partner (Rosita, 24) is an Italian expatriate, born in the farmlands of Tuscany, Italy. Now she is working in Rotterdam at a firm focused around carbon removal technologies. Much like myself, she can also work from home and thus she can accommodate stay-ins during weekdays and working hours. She was raised around dogs, cats and even farm animals. As I can vouch for myself, she is extremely good with pets. Even my dog back in Antwerp is completely in love with her😅. She speaks fluent Italian and English.

Services:

We offer petsitting at a time during the weekend and during weekdays if notified a few days beforehand. We accept maximum 2 pets at one given time to ensure we can give full attention and care to the pets. We are more than happy to take them on regular walks (3walks per day) and feed them regularly (twice a day or as requested in case of specific diet). There is a beautiful park and a dog park not too far away from our apartment so if given permission we would be very happy to take your pets there throughout the day.
