My name is Diana, and I live in Rijswijk. Growing up in the countryside of Romania, I came to love animals and nature. And so does my son. We cannot have a pet in our home, but we would love to be involved in other pets' lives.

With Pawshake, I work since July 2021 and I have had a wonderful experience so far. I took care of cats, rabbits, lizards, tortoise, walked dogs and watered the plants. And I ocossionally made suggestions on toy type and cleaned the house.

I have the life experience of taking care of animals in my grandparents' village. While being a student in Romania, I occasionally did pet sitting at my friend's house or taking the pet (dog) at my home from a few days up to two weeks. Even cooked for a dog and shared vacations together in the countryside of Romania.

Having a small child, the pet will get extra attention, care and love, as they will play together. We are a small family of three, parents and child. I am flexible with my time.

I take care of the pet at his/her home. I would also love to go out for a walk and to have play time together. I do not have restrictions on pet size or type, only that I prefer the dogs to be trained. I welcome all the pets, no differences, no preferences.

More on a personal level, I like outdoor activities, being outside at least two hours in the winter and three hours in the summer. Considering the weather conditions in the Netherlands, I am flexible and easy to adjust to. I was trained and worked as a geologist, therefore, I am used to being outside regardless of the weather condition.  

While looking after your pet, I can also wet your plants and do light tidy up. I can give tips on saving energy and circular economy - 3Rs (reduce, reuse, recycle). I can also take photos and write a small story if you have small children. 'Adventures of xxx'. Or make a small toy, in particular for the cats.

I do not have a police clearance certificate.

I am currently busy looking to take training and obtain certificates on pet sitting, pet nutrition, dog walking etc.  

I speak native Romanian, advanced English and good Dutch.

As I live in Rijswijk, postal code 2283 HG, I prefer visits within a radius of 5 km from my home.
