Hi Cat-lovers!

My name is Melanie, I am 29 years old, and live in Geldrop with my husband and our cat, Phoebe. I moved to the Netherlands from Canada 4 years ago, and work at the TU/e. I've always been an animal lover, but after moving to the Netherlands I really fell in love with cats! First, I moved into a house with a cat, and then I started tutoring English to a family that had 4 rag dolls in their house: heaven on earth!!

Shortly after that, we adopted our own cat, Phoebe, from a rescue organization active in Tunisia (mission pawsible). She came with a few health problems, (and has 3 legs), so I learned how to care for a sick cat too.

I like cat sitting because I am responsible, caring, and will go above and beyond to ensure your pet is safe, cared for and comfortable while you are away. We also travel, a lot, and have used Pawshake for cat sitters before, and know what a difference it makes to have someone you can wholeheartedly trust while you are away. I want to minimize the stress on you, and your pet while you are gone.

Cat Sitting

• I offer cat-sitting services only, once or twice a day visits.
• Cat-sitting services are available in Geldrop only.
• During visits, I feed, give water, clean out the litter box, and spend time cuddling and playing with your cat(s) and entertaining them. I know how important stimulating visits are and will make sure they are getting active time, and are cared for. If there are other unique needs that your cat has, I will care for them too.
• I also sweep/vacuum/clean up the living space where the cat(s) spend the most time: I know how much fur/dust can accumulate, so I am happy to clean it up and leave a fresh space for you to return to.
• I send photo/video updates.
• I care for your cat as if it is my own <3
