Hello!

I’m Ivana. I am a devoted mother of two; my daughter and our dog Toffee. Before our small family moved to the Netherlands, we lived in India where I volunteered at a local animal shelter for 4 years. At the shelter, I got to take care of a large variety of stray dogs and cats. Aiding the process of rescuing the animals from the streets of Delhi, taking care of them and finding them a suitable home deepened the love for animals that was already previously in me. I have fostered 15 puppies during this time and our dog Toffee was one of them. She is now happily living with us for 10 years. 

The passion for pets started young. I have always been surrounded by pets. As far back as I can remember- I’ve had a dog, or a cat. Animals have always brought me joy- spending time with them and taking care of them. For instance, my favorite way to relax after a stressful day is to take my dog Toffee for a long walk in the park. Hence, I’m looking forward to helping you and your pet. 

I have been also taking care of my friend's pets numerous times.  

When looking after your pet(s) I can ensure my love for animals and my experience in caring for them will show. It brings me joy to offer pets the comfort, love and support they need while their parents are out of the house.

Since I work from home, I have a fair amount of scheduling flexibility. In our chat we will discuss your pet's ideal schedule. As a pet owner, I understand that routine is key for their comfort and wellbeing. I will do my best to adjust my personal schedule so that your pet's needs are fully met while you are away! Additionaly please let me know any specific requests you would like me to follow.

I will update you as regularly as you'd like over the duration of your trip. Please rest assured that if an emergency comes up, whether it be a delayed return flight or a pet related medical emergency, I will do whatever is needed that your pet is covered until you return back home.

I love that each pet has their own uinque character, please send along any information that will help me best care for your pet, including training commands, special needs and behaviors I should look out for when we are togheter! It is also important to know your pet's feeding, treat and walking schedules in addition to their playtime activities.

I speak native Serbian, English, and intermediate Dutch.
