Hi, I'm George! I'm an English guy working freelance in Amsterdam for the last 10 years.

I grew up with lots of family dogs and dream of having a few of my own one day, sadly my travel schedule won't allow for one yet.

Services: Walking, dog sitting, house visits only

I live near Haarlemmerplein and live in a second story flat with my girlfriend. Unfortunately no garden, but the westerpark is basically my front garden.

I love walking and running in the park and thought it would be fun to have some furry company!

We grew up with Terriers, lurchers, and even an Ibizan wolfhound. My parents now have a miniature schnauzer called Edith, but as they're in the UK I don't get to play often enough.

I believe dogs should be regularly exercised and mentally stimulated with plenty of outdoors air. Socializing with humans and other dogs is also critical. Im quite a social person myself and enjoy wondering around Amsterdam on a sunny day, meeting friends and going to events.

I'm a big surfer and often find myself in Indonesia or Sri Lanka, whilst traveling recently I volunteered at two local dog charities that were involved in spaying and vaccinating the local dog populations. I found that really rewarding and a great way to give back to the local communities, as well as a great opportunity for belly rubs and chin scritches

I'm available most days although weekdays are typically easier. Im looking for a regular dog to walk or even sit long term, but for now looking for a good match.
