Aletta

Hello there!

So lovely to meet you! My name is Aletta and my dog's name is Tinie (like teeny). She is 3 years old and loves other dogs. I'm Dutch, but grew up abroad and we always had dogs growing up: always a rescue and a dashound (tekkel).

I have been fostering dogs on and of since 2016, and the white fluffbal in the photos is my #FosterFail! Tinie is a Maltese Poodle mix, she is loving, gentle, playful and courageous.

I work for an African Healthcare non-profit, and need to be at the office 2 days a week. Since I work from home parttime, and my Tinie enjoys the company of other dogs, we signed up for PawShake to offer a home-away-from-home for more dogs!

I will always make sure your dog has time to settle into the apartment, and ensure to take time to get to know one another. I have plentiful and variety of dog toys to play with! We will go for walks, usually around 20-30+ minutes per walk - this can be adjusted based on the needs of your dog. The Westerpark is nearby with a great safe dog walking trail that we often walk 🐾

Lots of cuddles are provided, if your dog is a cuddler! I will not leave them alone when they are here, as to not stress out the dog in a new environment. I will also share videos and photos during their stay, and try and capture those great moments! I know what it's like to want the assurance of knowing your dog is feeling safe and comfortable. I will only take on one doggy guest at a time 🩷
