Hi all!

Out of experience I know it can be scary or stressfull to leave your baby behind. I mean... will someone be able to love him/her the same way like you do? Trust me: I will! You can write me a 5 pages manual and I will be happy to follow it, cause our dogs only deserve the best (and even better than that).

I got my own dog 3,5 years ago and it was truly the best, magical decision I've ever made. With lots of love and patience I started to read a lot about body language and started to train him with only the best dogtrainers. I do not believe in methods like Ceasar Milan, so if your dog is used to that, we might not be a good match.

I will keep you updated, send you pictures and movies and I will start slowly with a long leash and some recalling. I have a beautifull park, the Diemerbos, 2 fenced doggy parks and even a fenced doggy beach around the corner! The dogs are allowed on the couch and on the bed, except at night ;) And treats? They will only get the best from the best, by example the biological free range chicken from the butcher. Does my dog eats better than me usually? Absolutely!

Vos, my own dog, loves every dog. He likes to play and to cuddle, has a lot of energy but also knows when to stop. He will be at my house as well, but he is happy to share a stick, chicken or his bed. Actually he is very grumphy when we did not met another dog during the day; he was used to a shelter with over 60 dogs.

I also have a 300m3 garden (soon to be fenched) on 10 minutes driving distance where we can go on very hot days.

Services

I can come over for visits, walks, feeding or petsitting. Your furry friend is also welcome to stay over at my place, but only small and medium dogs tough. I have a nice balcony and a mini pool to cool down. Also I will make chicken iceblocks if it gets really hot! Poor souls with that heat...

If I pick up your (small) dog, he or she must be used to a crate in front of the bike. Since I got a small house it's very usefull if your dog is crate trained, so you can bring is very own 'safe space.'

Dogwalking: I will walk your dog 45 minutes each walk. If your dog is not feeling comfortable in the beginning to walk 45 minutes, I can walk shorter and stay a bit to play braingames, make puzzles or make a sniffing mat to earn some trust. (Yes, I feel you, shelter dog parents).

Dogsitting: I have all the time and will be fulltime with your dog + Vos to provide him or her all the care and attention he or she needs. I usually go for 4 walks a day, depending on the dog(s).

For a day stay you can bring your dog between 7:00 and 10:00 and pick him or her up between 16:00 and 18:00. For sleepovers with more days the pick up time at arrival day doesn't matter so much, but the pick up time is between 7:00 and 10:00 as well. If you wanna pick up your dog later you can make a separate booking for 'dogsitting' (35 euros) for that day. But feel free to reach out, cause of course there is always some flexibility.

In some occasions I can also do housesitting. In any case I always wanna do a free try-out of 3/4 hours before to see how our dogs react on eachother.

*When a dog comes over, I expect that the dog had a certain level of socialization for your dogs and Vos his own peace. Also I only accept dogs who are properly leash trained.
