Hi everyone!

My name is Valentine, I am a French certified dog lover, currently taking a master's degree at UvA 💫 as I moved in Amsterdam 2 years ago, I had to leave my furry bestfriend (see our iconic selfies) in Paris with my parents 🥲 As you can imagine, I miss her very much, so becoming a dog-sitter would be such a joy for me ! I am a very active person, i love going on walks, and mountain treks during the summer (yes you heard, i take myself on walks 😂), just being outdoor in general. Especially now that I am sitting at the university library a lot, I feel this need even more than usually. Therefore being able to do the same thing with you dog, play with him and make him happy would only be a plus for me 🥰

About my pet-sitter experience, I confidently defined myself as certified, as I have been walking my neighbors' dogs since I am twelve. I always had a lot of empathy and interest for animals in general, and my neighbors' dogs were spending their days locked in a small room. Every time I would come back home from school I could see them through the window, and it broke my heart. That's when my pet-sitter journey started, as my parents didn't want to have a dog, I started walking my neighbors' everyday for a few years. It went to the point that I created such a strong bond with their third dog, Enjy, that she would escape regularly to come to my parents' house. So my parents and I decided to pressure my neighbors to adopt her, as she was way happier with us. And that's how I got my first and only dog, the cutie you can see on most of the pictures 😍 I also have a bit of experience with cats, as I regularly take care of my boyfriend's, however I feel more comfortable with dogs so I'd rather stick with my field of expertise 😉
