Over Alina
"Hello, my name is Alina, and I am a refugee from Ukraine currently residing in Amsterdam. I've been living here for almost two years and have one more year of experience working with animals.
My love for animals is profound, and even though I cannot have pets of my own at the moment, I donate my love for them by contributing 10% of my earnings to animal shelters in Ukraine. I am empathetic, kind, and responsible, understanding that each pet has its unique character, needs, and desires. It brings me joy to connect with them and find the right approach, but I also respect independent pets who prefer their space.
I have no harmful habits, and I cherish quiet winter days at home, solving puzzles or working on LEGO projects. As a refugee, I don't have a permanent home yet, so I can't accommodate pets myself, but I hope that will change.
I work in a gift shop with funny ducks, and my work schedule is three days a week - Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, from 15.00 to 22.30.
If your dog needs three or more walks a day, I might not be the right fit. However, I can walk your dog in the morning and evening, and someone else can do it during the day, which I have experience with.
Or I can walk before work, and someone during evening time.
I have experience with cats and some experience with dogs, and I'm a quick learner. In my childhood, I had cats, and I've always dreamt of having a dog.
I can:
- Feed
- Walk
- Live in your house
- Administer medication
- Bathe
- Offer affection and care
In Ukraine, I frequently visited animal shelters, took classes on pet training and education. It was a pleasure to introduce myself, and I hope to meet your pet soon too."
