Hello there! My name is Michelle and I recently moved to Amsterdam from sunny Cape Town, South Africa with my partner Rob.

We are young working professionals who work from home. I do freelance photography and graphic design, and Rob is an auditor at one of the big four firms. My schedule is very flexible throughout the week and am available on weekends should I not have prior commitments. 

I decided to do dog walking and pet sitting because of my love for animals and have a very flexible schedule. What made moving to Amsterdam so difficult was saying goodbye to our little Miniature Schnauzer, Ziggy and kitten, Chillies who live with my parents in South Africa (see photos of Ziggy with his great haircut 😂), so it would be great to meet your little furry friend for a walk or to come visit for the day!

We live in Rivierenbuurt, walking distance from an off-leash area (Beatrixpark) and other amazing parks (Amsterpark and Sarphatipark). We are fitness enthusiasts and would be happy to offer you dog walks ranging from 30mins – 1hour, short – long distance depending on your preference. Our apartment is open, spacious, pet friendly and we have a moderate size roof terrace with a sunbed for those sunny days.

In South Africa, we did volunteer dog walking for Oscar’s Arc on the beachfront promenade. Both Rob and I have grown up with animals our whole lives (20+ years) and have learned great techniques over time and strongly believe in the philosophy of treating all animals with respect. 

We offer pet feeding and oral medication administration services. Furthermore, we provide home & pet check-in services, which include watering of plants, brushing/playing with pets, temporarily opening windows for fresh air, taking in mail, ensuring your home is in perfect condition and security measures (such as locking doors/windows, switching on security systems, etc.) along with any specific preferences you may have. We also provide a “report-back-to-you” service tailored to your needs.
