Currently, I accept long term sits (4-5 days or longer) two weeks in advance. I have an existing client base already. Therefore, I am selective of adding new clients. I prefer creating and maintaining stable lasting relationships with your animal friend and you. :)

Motivation/Motivatie/Motivación

I really enjoy sharing time with animals like cats and dogs. It's fun to play with pets and spoil them too. Therefore, dog and cat sitting brings me great enjoyment. It allows one to enjoy the different personalities of each pet. My partner also sits with me. She feels the same. Currently, we own no pets because we travel often and instead enjoy sitting others pets. Our work from home schedule allows is to sit at your place or ours. We have a garden 25mx6m.

I am Jonathan and am 28 years old. I was raised in California, and moved to Puerto Rico at 17. I enjoy traveling, nature, and outdoor sports. Now I live in The Netherlands with my Dutch Partner. I studied Civil Engineering and am finishing a Masters Degree at TU Delft. I consulted at one of the big five corporations. I'm fluent in English and Spanish. I also speak and read basic Dutch (A2).

Moreover, I grew up with dogs. One was always a pure breed, and the others were mixed breed rescue animals. From a young age I enjoyed a beauty of pet ownership which comes with play and responsibility. During college, I had two rescue cats, Milo and Nati. I rented out the other rooms of my house. One housemate had a Husky, Luna. I would play with her by taking her out to walk or run by the beach since the owner did not. I felt responsible for her well being.

Regarding Experience, I have been dog and cat sitting for almost a year on pawshake with my partner via her account. Before that I always sat for my friends and family's pets. Poeple say I have a gift with animals. Sometimes, in nature random animals will come close to me or allow me too come close. like this have been able to be close to wild deer, birds, butterflies, turtles... etc. I tend to understand animals and they understand me. I like working with them too.
