Hello doglovers! My name is Paula and I am a dedicated pet sitter with a genuine love for animals. Growing up in a household with dogs, I quickly learned the joy and responsibility that comes with caring for animals. This early experience started a lifelong passion for animals, which has guided me in becoming a reliable and compassionate pet sitter. I have a degree in agriculture and I love spending time in nature. I live close to a forest in Soesterberg and I often take long walks there, which I would love to do in the company of a furry friend. 

My motivation to be a pet sitter comes from my deep connection with animals and the fulfilment I find in ensuring they are happy, healthy, and well-cared for. I am from Croatia and since I have always had a dog, I miss having one in The Netherlands (landlord rules do not allow me to have my own pet :/) . Therefore, I found out about Pawshake and saw it as a way to connect to animals. So as much as I give care to them, they give back to me even more love as I noticed that without a connection to dogs, I tend to miss it a lot. Therefore, whether it’s a long walk, playtime, or just a cuddle on the couch, I’m ready and committed to making your pet feel loved and comfortable.

Besides having 2 dogs since my childhood, I have several years of experience pet sitting for friends and family in Croatia. My priority is always the safety and well-being of the pets in my care, which is why I prefer taking time with the dogs so that they trust me and feel comfortable in my care.
