ABOUT ME

My name is Karina, I am 20 years old originally from Ukraine. I've always had a passion for all sorts of animals, but especially dogs! I grew up around dogs, at home, at my grandparents', at my friends' places. As a kid, I used to dream of a big house to be able to have a bunch of dogs there. Now I see it more like a goal:)

EXPERIENCE: Volunteering, training, learning dog behavior

Later, I became a volunteer in a shelter in Ukraine to help take care of stray cats and dogs and give them some more love. Then, at the age of 15 I moved to the U.S. and volunteered at a local shelter there. I have learned how to train dogs, read their language, how to treat dogs with behavioral issues or those, who had been abused at a certain stage in their lives.

I, myself, have adopted a rescue dog from a shelter in Amsterdam, who is experiencing many things for the first time now, such as going to a beach or sleeping on the couch 😂. She is a small-sized 2 year old girl. She is friendly with other dogs as long as they aren't aggressive. I do not think that there would be any issues during the dog-caring days. However, I do have extra space to be able to separate the dogs, in case that would be necessary.

MY SERVICES

My partner, dog and I live in the Amstelveen, which is a nice, quiet area. There is a lot of green areas around here, where your dog will have a lot of fun, play, and lose their energy! I am only taking dogs when I know that I can dedicate the time to them, and since I am a student, I spend a lot of time studying at home. This makes it easy for me to host dogs and be sure that they are going to enjoy it! I can take dogs for a day and night boarding, for walks and for training, depending on the owner's wishes, which can be then privately discussed.

I will take care of your dog the same way I do of my own little furry child! The only thing to mention is, I only accept vaccinated dogs, since I do not want to risk my pet's health.
