My name is Alex Dill, I am a 24-year-old and recent master's in Architecture graduate from Cape Town, South Africa. I was born and raised in Cape Town and being constantly surrounded by the beauty of nature and animals growing up, I have the utmost respect for all creatures and treat them all with kindness and love! I have recently relocated to the Netherlands with my EU passport in hopes of starting a career in architecture here, but in the meantime I've taken up a waittressing position that occupies my time in the evenings but, as I miss my own pets in South Africa so much, I would love to spend my days taking care of your beloved pets. 

I have grown up in a house wherein there are always animals (dogs, cats, birds, snakes - you name it!) and have grown an affinity for animals that has pushed me to do volunteer work at shelters in Cape Town, through my adolescent and young adult life. Throughout my life I have owned 6 dogs, 2 cats and 2 parrots. All of the pets that I have owned have been vaccinated. I've lived with my parents up until now and moving to the Netherlands, I had to leave behind my beloved Whippet, Tuxedo, and Jack Russell Terrier, Milo. My house in South Africa has also been home to cats and parrots who I've sadly had to say goodbye to.

Although I have never pet sit professionally, I believe that I have enough experience with animals from parrots to dogs to be more than qualified for the job and have taken care of freind's pets throughout my life when they have been away! I love animals in all shapes and sizes and I'm sure that will reflect in my work ethic if I am so lucky to get to take care of your beloved pets. As a lifelong pet owner, I know all too well that pets are members of the families that have brought them into their home and, therefore, I will treat them as such.

Sadly, I cannot offer in-home servoces such as doggy daycare or boarding as I do not have the space, but if you are willing to welcome me into your home to take care of your beloved pets, you can be assured I will shower them with a whole lot of love and attention as I am missing my own pets so much!
