Hello! My name is Rosa. I've spent my life around animals and currently am a pet owner myself(two cats). I've owned dogs, birds, guinea pigs, hamsters, chickens and have experience caring for other types of pets and animals. ( I use to volunteer at wildlife centers and animal shelters). I'm a certified veterinary assistant with pet first aid training. This means I can handle everything from basic care to unexpected situations with confidence.  

I do ask your pets be vaccinated, healthy and/or if they suffer from a condition( I am informed about it to decided together what is the best way to care for them). I do not offer care for unvaccinated animals, nervous or aggressive animals. That is a safety issue for me and I run the risk of exposing my own pets.  

Walking dogs bring me joy and I take the responsibility seriously. I offer 30 minutes to an hour walks throughout the neighborhood, which can include stops at dog parks, city parks and forested areas( ex: spaarnwoude, santpoort dunes, santpoort forest, westerplas area, and more). For indoor pets, i can offer playtime activities such as cat wands, controlled catch with a ball, hide and seek, cuddle time( petting your cat or any animal that likes it) and just being in the room with them if they are too shy. 

My routines are also the same for most pets, the first month is to get to know each other. I will only focus on walks, feeding times and just being in a room with your pet until they get use to me. We will try to do playtime on and off depending on the animal. After the first month, things should really take off and we will be more comfortable for different activities such as more playtime with different toys and objects, longer walks and trips to other places nearby( depending on owner's permission), and more. 

At the moment, I do not offer overnight stays. I am open to pet sitting if you need someone to watch your pets while on vacation. I will not stay at your home but will make check ins two or three times per day. Mornings to check in on animals, clean up if needed, check food and water levels , walks for dogs, and playtime for other animals. Midday to check in on animals and play. Check in with any animals that need more attention, care or walk. ( if midday isn't needed if can be two times per day) Evenings, check food and water levels, go for a walk , play time or cuddle time. hang out before i leave until the next day. 

Your dog, cat or other pets will be safe, well- exercised and happy after our time together. 

 * Note: my daugther who is 5 years old might join in walks. She knows how to behave around animals. If you are not comfortable with that, please let me know.
