Hi!
My name is Leticia, I'm a 26 years old lawyer from Sao Paulo, Brazil. I am currently living in Utrecht and just finished a master in European Law at Utrecht University. But that's the boring part. The cool part is that I'm completely crazy about animals. My parents tell stories of me as early as three years old chasing dogs in the streets, trying to play with colourful caterpillars, and I grew up having several pets, from fishes, to bunnies, to even chicken! It was only later on that we got our cats. They are the biggest love of my life. All strays rescued from the streets, we now have a total of 5: Fred, Vio, Billy, Tom and Gordo (which means "fat" in portuguese, there's a picture of him in my gallery so you'll get the nickname). And I skype with them every week!
As I've always cared deeply for animals, back in Sao Paulo, I was a volunteer and member of the NGO "Desabandone" (some of the pictures in my gallery here are with some of our rescues). We rescued dogs and cats from the streets, took care of them at our shelter, nursed them back to health and found them loving forever families. It's one of the things I'm most proud of in my life.
Unfortunately I can't have pets of my own here in Utrecht, and totally miss being around them. That's why I thought about petsitting! Nothing would make me happier than take care of your pet, and you can trust that I'll be the most loving, caring and responsible person to be around them. I can make home visits, clean around, feed them, play with them, take them on walks (if you want them to go outside), and just overall give them attention and love when you need me to!
Hopefully we get to meet!
Best,
Leticia

Leticia is so great with Buddy!
Goede oppas die haar afspraken na komt, zeker voor herhaling vatbaar
As I mentioned on my description, I volunteered at a rescue NGO for about 3 years back in Sao Paulo. Although I don't have any degree in animal care, I learned a lot from that time. Our responsibilities at the shelter didn't concern just cleaning and feeding our rescues, but also nursing them back to health. Some animals are rescued in a pretty bad shape, so the care we gave them included giving special medical baths, giving different types of medication on specific times, changing bandages, giving them special food on syringes when they couldn't yet eat alone - all with the supervision of our vets, of course! Back home, that's also the responsibility I have with my cats - and I must say I'm an expert in giving medicine to cats, which is not a piece of cake! That means that even if your pet takes some kind of medication or needs some sort of special care (that wouldn't require a trained vet), you can trust me to take care of that!
