My name is Desirée, I'm an Italian living in the Netherlands since many years. I used to have many pets back home and I really miss spending time with animals. I would love to have a dog but unfortunately I travel a lot for work, so it would be irresponsible to get one. For this reason I thought that I could help local dog owners when they need help during vacations etc. 

I have experience with many dogs with different characters: I had a great dane, a border collie, a cocker spaniel and some other mixed dogs. I would be happy to host a dog at my place, preferably hypoallergenic as my partner is allergic. It is not a must though as he can handle it in case.

I live with my partner and our 6 years old son, who would love to experience having a doggo at home. Of course any other animal is also welcome!

I work from home so I can spend the whole day next to our furry guest. I generally would prefer to have one pet at a time, but if someone has two dogs/cats who should stay together, happy to host them both. In terms of walks, we would go out as soon as I get up as well as before going to bed, and a longer walk in the afternoon (lunch time or after work, as the owner wishes). If more is needed, happy to discuss. I would follow the owner's guidelines on feeding patterns or possible light medications such as pills. The dog would sleep in the living room. I do not have any other pets at home. 

I live in the city center of Utrecht, an easy-to-reach location if you live in the area. We have an apartment with a terrace on top. Outside our home, there is a beautiful walking path along the canal. Reach out if you have any questions!
