Hi there!
My name is Loes (pronounced Looss — or Luz for Spanish speakers). I’m 34 years old and spend most of my week and or weekends working for emergency centre for (sick) Dutch travellers I need. I’m Dutch by birth but speak fluent English and a good basic level of Spanish.
my love for animals is nothing new and it will never get old. Animals have always been part of my life. I grew up with cats who used to walk me to school, and two Labradors who belonged to the woman who babysat me, they became my furry friends long before I was old enough to walk dogs on my own.

Over the years, I’ve helped friends (and ex-boyfriends!) care for their pets, including a rescue dog who completely stole my heart. I’ve learned that caring for animals isn’t just about feeding or walking them (whether it’s at 6 a.m. or late at night) — it’s about understanding their personalities, rhythms, quirks and needs.

I don’t currently have pets of my own because I often travel, sometimes for longer periods and I know I’d miss them too much when I’m away. That’s why pet sitting is the perfect balance for me: I still enjoy the happiness, joy and laughter into my life while helping others feel at ease when they’re away from home.

I offer dog walking, dog sitting, and cat sitting services designed to keep your pets happy, relaxed when you’re not around. I take my role seriously, and I take your trust seriously too. You can expect lots of care, regular updates, and plenty of photos or video updates.

About My Home

I live alone in a bright, spacious two-bedroom apartment with separate working and living areas divided by a glass door. This means I can work while keeping your pet close by either or in full view, whichever they and you prefer.

All rooms can be safely closed off, as well as the kitchen. My apartment is on the first floor, accessible via three short flights of sturdy stone stairs. If your dog has trouble with stairs, please let me know . I will be able to carry smaller dogs up and down the stairs, if they are medium/ the lager side of life we would have to chat a little before hand..

I’m just 15/20 minutes walking from Kralingse Bos, perfect for long forest walks.

Since I work from home, your pet will not be alone. Only if I need to run At most a very small 30'min only if I have to run a quick errand. The rest of the time, your pet will have company, care, and conversation (yes, I do talk to them).

Some things to take into account before booking

-I don’t have a car or driver’s license, but I live close to tram and metro stations and can easily travel within Rotterdam, including picking up or dropping off your pet if needed (via public transport).
In case of emergency, I can always arrange an Uber or taxi — I just want to be transparent about what I can and can’t offer.

-I’m experienced, patient, and always take time to get to know your pet’s personality and preferences before we start

-I only take bookings through Pawshake to ensure everyone’s safety and transparency.

I’ve always believed animals make life softer, funnier, and a little bit brighter. My goal is simple: to make your pet’s time away from you as comfortable and joyful as possible. With plenty of updates, love, and a good dose of humor, I’ll make sure they feel at home until you return.
