Over Mateo and Marcelina

Hello! We are Mateo and Marcelina, a young couple with a deep passion for pets, especially dogs. Both of us grew up surrounded by these wonderful companions, so we understand the importance of providing them with love and care. We live in Rotterdam and one of us works in The Hague, but we always find time to offer the best care for your pets.

Our motivation to become pet sitters comes from our unconditional love for animals. We want them to feel safe and happy, even when their owners are away. We are committed to keeping you constantly informed about your pet's well-being and are open to any specific requests you may have for them.

Our services include:

  1. Daily Drop-In Visits: We visit your home for 30 to 40 minutes to check on your pet. During this time, we make sure they are well-fed, have fresh water, and receive the love and attention they need.

    1. Daytime Care in Your Home: We offer two-hour care sessions at your home. If you need more time, we can accommodate longer sessions, always ready for playtime and cuddles with your pets.

    2. Overnight Stays at our Home: We provide full care during the night and part of the day. This option ensures your pet receives constant attention while you are away. Each day of reservation is considered 24 hours, so check-in and check-out must be at the same time. In case of late check-out, an additional day care fee will be charged.

      3. What can you expect from us depending on the service you choose?

      • Daily Updates: We send you photos and messages daily so you know how your pet is doing.

      • Play and Affection: We provide plenty of playtime and cuddles (or space if your pet prefers).

      • Full Care: For overnight stays, we offer full-time care.

      • Quick Visits: For daily visits, we stay for 30 to 40 minutes to feed, clean, and change your pet's water. You can also schedule two visits per day.

      • Fun Activities: We love playing fetch and hide-and-seek in safe spaces like your yard or home.

      • Personalized Attention: We give pets our undivided attention and lots of cuddles if they like it.

      • Additional Tasks: We water your plants and take care of the litter box and any food requirements.

      • Empathy and Patience: We are huge animal lovers and bond easily with all creatures, whether by giving them love and attention or space and understanding.

        Geen teruggave wanneer de boeking wordt geannuleerd on op of na de startdatum van de boeking.

        I am extremely happy I came across the profile of Mateo and Marcelina. It was my first time leaving my husky with someone for a somewhat longer duration of time, and as it turned out I couldn't have asked for a better place for him. They went out of their way to accommodate my doggo who was very well looked after, and I got regular updates from them which I really appreciated.

        Thanks to this they made him feel at home and me at ease :) I wholeheartedly recommend them!

        I left my husky with Mateo and Marcelina for a 4 day boarding and an extra daycare. As I described in my review under the boarding service, I was very happy with the way they made my doggo feel at home and I will definitely contact them again in the future! :)
