Hey!

I live with my husband and my dog Joey (1 year old, golden retriever, not neutered). I've been in the Netherlands for 6 years now. I work from home most days and Joey is very friendly. In fact I feel he misses some furry company :)

We live in a house with a big fenced backyard which would be fun for Joey and his new friend to play in. Joey is allowed everywhere in our 2 floor house expect our bed. However I’m flexible and will try to keep your pup used to his/her schedule which you have developed. :) Joey while allowed on the couch, gets down on command and I can keep him off the couch if your dog is not allowed on the couch to keep the rules the same for your dog :)

I usually take Joey on 2 long walks about 40 min each time, morning and evening, but I can do more if needed. I work from home most days, and otherwise my husband works nearby and we are flexible :)

I have always lived around dogs, and I love them, and most of the time, they like me as well :). I can provide personal care based on food/walking preferences for your pup. We can provide a nice staycation for your pup. I also understand the need to check in on your pup when you're away, so you can always contact me when you're on holiday to check on your puppy.

What I like is to have your pup meet Joey at our place to see if she/he has a good connect with the surroundings. If that works, I'm sure she/ he will have a wonderful stay here :)

Things to consider :

- my pup Joey is 1 year old, so he's quite energetic. But i take him on regular walks and i keep him calm at home.

- Joey is NOT neutered.

- Joey is a golden retriever, but he has many friends who are smaller breeds.

- I do not speak Dutch. i am learning but at the moment my Dutch skills are very poor. :(
