This was my first time using a pet-sitting service, and boy, was I a bundle of nerves! My cat Dan isn't the biggest fan of new faces, so you can imagine the mini-heart attacks I was having thinking about a stranger keeping him company.
But then there's Daiz, the pet-sitting superhero! Somehow, and I still can't fathom how, she and Dan got on like a house on fire. They bonded like they've been pals since forever. We chatted every day, and she'd send me uber-cute photos. And judging from the photos she sent, it seemed my cat might have been even happier with her than he is with me (At some point, I was even like, "Does he even remember me?" Haha!)
Coming back home, I swear Dan was half-expecting Daiz to waltz in with his dinner. I mean, these two became inseparable in just a fortnight. If Dan and I need a sitter again, we've got her on speed dial!
