Hello! My name is Marissa and I love being a petsitter. With more than five years of experience caring for animals of all personalities, ages, medical needs, and backgrounds, my passion for pet sitting grew naturally from a lifelong love of animals and a desire to create a safe, calm, and joyful environment for them when their owners are away. Over the years, I’ve worked with everything from high-energy puppies to elderly pets who need gentle routines, as well as anxious or rescue animals who require extra patience and understanding.

What motivates me most is the trust that forms between a pet, their owner, and a petsitter. I often petsit for the same families every month, and I love the collaboration and trust that grows over time. I believe every animal deserves the best life possible, so I take time to learn each pet’s habits, fears, and favorite comforts. Whether your dog thrives on long walks or your cat prefers a stay-at-home friend, I enjoy adapting my time with your pet to what suits them best. I enjoy walking, so I would love to take your pet on lovely walks around the city, long or short, if that's what they enjoy too. I would prefer petsitting animals who are fully-vacinated. 

Communication is extremely important to me, so I always keep owners updated with thoughtful check-ins where needed, and also offer house-sitting services and include any updates to your home if relevant when you are away. My goal is to give your pet a safe and loving environment, leaving you assured and at ease to enjoy your time away from your pet.
