Hi, I'm Rachel! I'm 24 and I recently moved to Turnhout from Leiden, NL.

I speak both Dutch and English fluently and I’m a huge pet person!

I've grown up with cats my entire life and currently have 3 and a 1 year old German Shephard. They are my best friends and make me feel happier and more relaxed than any meditation app or yoga class ever has! I began babysitting for children in 2016, many of these jobs also included looking after pets and walking dogs before picking up the kids. I loved this aspect of babysitting, and it made the whole experience very rewarding, which fueled me to start accepting more pet sitting and dog walking jobs for the years to come. I started volunteering at Dieren Asiel Stevenshage (Leiden, NL) in 2014 where I learnt how properly administer medication to pets and all the tips and tricks I use daily for my kitties and other animals.

One of my cats, Tinytoes, was diagnosed with epilepsy 5 years ago and has medication twice a day and I am also familiar with strict dietary needs and close monitoring of hypoallergenic food. I have pet sat and walked many animals in my 8 years working, so, I have a varied and competent experience level! I'm a very gentle and kind person who will treat any animal as if they were my own and always put their well-being over anything else. I recently completed a masters degree in Cognitive Psychology and have a flexible schedule. Over my years of working with animals I've enjoyed looking after every single one, I'm happy to petsit, play, walk, socialize any furry or non-furry friend who needs company!
