I’ve been living in the Netherlands for three years, and I’ve been around pets my whole life. I grew up with my little Pekingese— he was truly my baby — and I walked him every single day. Taking care of dogs has always felt very natural to me. More recently, I looked after my boyfriend’s senior cat for a whole month while she stayed with us. I handled her daily care, feeding, litter cleaning, playtime, and keeping her calm and comfortable. We became really close, and she grew very attached to me.

I work from home, so I have lots of time to spend with pets and give them real attention, not just quick check-ins. I love taking dogs for relaxed, safe walks at their pace, making sure they get both exercise and time to explore. When I visit or stay with pets at home, I always follow the owner’s routine carefully — feeding on time, refreshing water, keeping their space clean, and giving plenty of cuddles, play, or quiet company depending on what the pet needs.
