Hi! I’m Ralitsa and I live in Hoofddorp together with my dog Ozzy (13). We’re looking forward to welcome your dog at our place and spend some nice time together! 

A bit about me: Born and raised in Bulgaria. I lived in Costa Rica for 8 years and since 2018 I live in the Netherlands. 

Looking back, there are very few moments in my life, where I didn’t have a dog. I’m not just a dog person, building a bond with dogs comes naturally for me and I truly enjoy spending time with them. 

Ozzy is a rescue from Costa Rica and we have been together since 2013. He is sweet and curious, but as he gets older, he likes his own space and naps.

Fun fact: Back in my days in Costa Rica, I was called jokingly ‘the dog whisperer’ in my neighborhood, as I would often go on a walk with my 2 dogs, and get back home with an extra 1 or 2 (or 3!)! There are many stray dogs in Costa Rica and I was actively engaged in caring for as many as I could, and have fostered several of them (short and long term), so I have experience with all kinds of dog needs and personalities. 

I have experience with young and senior dogs and have provided care in a variety of health-related situations – from upset tummies and vomiting, to serious physical injuries (recovery after a car accident), to poisoning from licking a toad (yes, I had that too!). I have also completed a first aid course for dogs in the Netherlands. 

What you can expect from me:

I am a warm and caring person, very respectful and responsible. I appreciate open and honest communication.  

My goal is to make your dog as comfortable and happy as possible during your absence. I will respect your routine and requirements when it comes to feeding, walks, care, play/rest time, etc. I will do my best to ensure your dog’s safety and wellbeing at all times during their stay with me. 

I live in a quiet and green neighborhood. My house has a fully fenced backyard, where your dog could play and snooze under the sun (when there is actually sun!). There is a lake and a lot of green areas just 5 minutes away from my place – so lots of outdoors fun guaranteed! 

My dog is allowed on the furniture, so naturally your dog will also be, unless you wish otherwise. 

I will only accept one dog at a time, so I can ensure he/she has my full attention.

Your dog will not be left alone during their stay with me, unless for short periods of time for up to 2 hours max, when I need to run a quick errand or so. 

I will provide you with updates and pictures daily, or as often as you would like, so that you can put your mind where it needs to be – enjoying your holidays 😊 

For first time customers we will arrange a meet & greet, where we get to know each other and find out if we are a good match.
