Hi, my name is Erica. I have been a cat sitter for many years, and now with Pawshake three years. I have experience caring for cats, dogs, bearded dragons, turtles, snakes, rabbits, chickens and worms. I moved to Amsterdam in 2019 from the US, and now I'm in Alkmaar. I worked in the education department of a zoo in Brooklyn a few years ago, and loved to introduce kids to our education animals. My professional background is in environmental education- I have worked at urban farms, botanical gardens, environmental education centers, and other non profit organizations that explore ecosystems with children. I love all creatures large and small, and I'm not afraid when things get dirty.

I offer pet sitting at your home only at this time. I can feed, change water and litter, play with, and give lots of love to your pet while you are away. I have experience sitting for pets that need medication or extra care as well. I take my time, and make sure your pet is safe and comfortable. People tell me I have calm energy, and animals generally like me. I really enjoy being around all animals, but cats are my favorite.

When you leave your pet with me you won't have to worry about him/her getting enough love. And if you want, I'm happy to send daily pictures to help you stay connected.
