Jhia Chun

Hello. My name is Jhia Chun. I am from Malaysia and have been living in Haarlem for about 6 years now. I am a stay at home mom and an animal lover. I adopted 5 bunnies and had a total of 3 hamsters for the past 7 years. I also had terrapins when I was much younger. It is important to me that pets get the best care possible. I enjoy taking care, spending time and watch my bunnies.

As I am a stay at home mom, I can spend a lot of time with the guest pets. I believe that it is important to follow the schedule of the guest pets as closely as possible to reduce stress for them. I also love spending time playing, cuddling and sitting with the guest pets on the floor or couch when my child is at school or is sleeping.

I live in a house with the layout in the pictures(living room, dining room) where the guest pets are allowed to roam freely and sleep. We have a backyard which we are doing some gardening work every now and then. The backyard is fully fenced(2 sides with walls and 1 side with wooden fence) but there is a shared path with the next door neighbour to exit from their backyard. The guest pets are definitely allowed to enjoy the backyard too. Our 2 bunnies are currently living in the backyard happily, in an enclosed area with X-pen and also the hutch as their safe place to go to.

I live with my husband and we have a small child. Therefore it is important for the animals that I care for to be used to having small children around them and also vaccinated. And of course my child loves animals too.

I would love to have your furry family members or friends(only small animals including small dogs or bigger dogs as long as they are used to having small children around or child friendly)

to come over and stay with me. It would be wonderful if I can share my love for my furry family members with yours. I am also open and willing to take care of them the way you do as long as it is the best care for them. I also live nearby the parks where I think the dogs will be very happy to have walks there if they are staying over at my place.
