My name is Dorina, I’m a 21-year-old Hungarian living in Amsterdam.

Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and now that I’m living on my own for the first time, I really miss having them around. That’s why I’m excited to be a pet sitter and happy to help if you need someone to care for your pets!

Growing up, my family’s household included a dog and five cats — each with their own unique personality and needs. Two of our cats were particularly shy and preferred minimal human interaction, so I’ve learned how to respect their boundaries and be patient with them

From ages 15 to 20, I also volunteered at a local animal shelter on weekends. Here, I gained hands-on experience as I provided care for both dogs and cats, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being. I spent time with many very shy and anxious pets, therefore I have experience in this area as well.

I live in a cozy studio apartment in Amsterdam-Oost, where I’m glad to welcome your pet. My apartment is not big, but with Flevopark being right across the street, I can provide your pet with plenty of walks and play time☺️ The building I live in also has a closed courtyard where I can play with your pet safely.

There are also places in my studio where cats can hide if they need some time by themselves, or are shy!

I'm also happy to house-sit if that's what you prefer!

My schedule is flexible, so I can accommodate the specific needs of your pet(s). On Wednesdays, weekends and during holidays, I can be with your pet 24/7. On other days, I have a few contact classes at university, which is across the street from where I live. Therefore I wouldn't have to leave your pet alone for long periods!

I only take on one pet at a time (or several pets from the same household). This way I am able to give every pet the attention they deserve, and provide them a peaceful stay.

I am fluent in English and Hungarian, and also speak some Spanish (B1-B2 level:)). I also started learning Dutch a few months ago.
