Hi there!
My name is Anna. I am originally Russian/ German; about year and a half ago, I moved to Amsterdam from Ireland with work. I absolutely love dogs and wish I could have one, alas with the amount of travel I have to do related to my work, it would be highly unfair to the furry friend... So why not get the best of both worlds- help someone look after their pet and enjoy their company myself?!
The doggie in the pictures you see is Bailey. She was (well still is) my housemates' dog in Ireland. I lived with her 2.5 years and in that time we've quite bonded. I do get to see her everytime I am back in Ireland. She was a rescue pup, coming from an abusive household- so when I met her, she was very shy and didn't like strangers much. However, that did not pose any difficulties in us becoming friends. We would regularly go on long walks/hikes (5-15km) to the mountains, beach, etc.
I've always grown up with dogs and cats around me. My grandparents had a Doberman/Rottweiler mix, then a pure Doberman and cats. My mom and I had Dachshunds and cats in the house when growing up as well. So finding a common language with the four-legged
furry friends has never been an issue for me.
I am open to walking all kinds of dogs, however, when it comes to hosting- my apartment would be too small for anything bigger than a collie. I am mobile by car and don't mind pets in the car either (obviously with seat covers).

Anna was very easy to communicate with! She even dropped Coco at our place outside of Amsterdam at the end of the weekend. Thank you again for watching our pup :)
Anna was awesome with Leila. Leila loved her little holiday. Looking forward to next visit!
