Hi! I'm a 33 y/o English animal lover living in Amsterdam.

I absolutely love animals and am on here simply because I can't have pets of my own and I like to stay in new and different places from time to time. 

I work for myself as a marketing consultant and work from home every day, I live in a tiny apartment in Amsterdam with my partner, but because of this I sadly can't have pets. I love having some company whilst i'm working and getting away to a different environment for a few days/ week.

I have been pet sitting now for 3 years, I have used trusted housesitters (I can provide the link if you want to see reviews) and word of mouth referrals (very happy to put you in touch with my most regular cat sitting client). I love all animals but have most experience with dogs and cats, I have always been raised around animals and have a calm approach towards animals and have a strong understanding of health, saftey and animal wellbeing care.

Something I feel quite passionately about is to not let my ego get in the way of your pet's wellbeing. What I mean by this is, if you have a cat who doesn't like being approached or touched - Then I will leave your cat to go about their own business unless there is a specific need to intefere. I will listen to your specific desires for pet treatment since you ultimately know your pet a lot better than I do, and I will not punish your pets apart from calmly establishing any boundaries that you ask me to set.

I am extremely patient and calm with animals and also understand that your pets may not be on their best behaviour under my care (afterall, it can cause a lot of stress when owners leave), I will do the best that I can to create the least stressful environment possible for them. - I am also interested in establishing more regular relationships as I've found that it's easier for animals to adjust to me when they already know me. 

Since I work for myself and have very minimal calls my job flexibility does tend to work well for looking after pets - As does my GymRat app which make me want to go for long walks every day for the points 😂

Since i'm not on any time limits i'm very flexible with dates and can organise a pre-meet sometime if you think it's needed.
