Hi, we're Juan Luke and Tayla Clackworthy, an outgoing, active & adventurous, animal-loving couple that are newly married after falling in love as high-school sweethearts at boarding school in South Africa.We are new to the city and absolutely craving some furry companionship! While we’re not quite ready to start our own fur family abroad just yet, we both grew up surrounded by animals and miss that special bond. Pet walking and house sitting is the perfect way for us to explore our Amsterdam, get outdoors, and connect with the pets (and pet parents!) in our community.

Experience:

Juan comes from a long line of pet lovers—his family has owned and run a boutique kennel & pet logistics company in South Africa for three generations, giving him extensive experience in animal care, training, and boarding. Together, we’ve cared for countless pets—our own, those of family and members of our community back home, and even furry passengers on cross-country pet shuttles during Covid for the family business! From cuddly kittens to the more anxious doggies, we know how to provide loving, safe, and attentive care to both you and your fur babies, with regular updates and constant cuddles.

Services: One of us is usually available mornings, afternoons or evenings.

Home Visits: During home visits, we adjust our duration depending on your pet’s needs, however typically our stays range between 15-30 minutes. We’re also happy to water plants, bring in the mail, and handle other small tasks to help keep your home in order while you're away.

Dog Walking: Our dog walks usually last 30 minutes, and we tailor the walk duration and route based on your dog’s age, breed, and energy level. We typically walk in local neighborhoods, parks, or nearby trails.

House Sitting: For house sitting, we offer both overnight stays and extended day stays, ensuring your pets have companionship and care while you're away. We take home security seriously—keeping doors locked, and taking care of your space as if it was our own.
