Hi,

my name is Friederike, I'm 26 years old and currently doing my Master's at the UvA. I grew up in Germany but moved to Amsterdam 6 years ago for university, where I'm now living in a small apartment. Back home we have a dog called Lenny (australian shepherd) who just turned 3 - he's our family dog and I really love him a lot :) He's quite active so whenever I'm back home I'm taking him for walks in nature or at the beach. Growing up I also had 2 cats and I was taking the golden retriever of our neighbors' on walks, and had him live with us whenever his owners went on holiday.

I live in the NDSM neighborhood in Amsterdam Noord, which has lots of nice walking paths along the water. I live in a studio apartment which is unfortunately quite small (24 sqm), so taking care of cats or small dogs for a few days at my apartment would be no problem, but for bigger dogs it might be better for me to come to your house for a walk or a visit, or for staying over night. Going to other neighborhoods in Amsterdam to take care of your pet is no problem for me, as long as it is bikeable :)

I'm going to uni 2 days a week and I work part-time, but you can always contact me about my availability. As I work remote, I can combine my job with petsitting in certain cases (whenever your pet is sleeping for example), and give your pet full attention when they're awake😊 My dog walks and home visits are usually around 30-60 minutes, and I'd also be able to stay overnight if your pet likes to have some late-night company.
