Hi, I’m Jonathan!

Although I’m new to offering pet sitting services, I’ve had dogs my entire life and caring for animals has always been second nature to me. I currently live in Amsterdam and work full-time in a corporate job—but I work from home, which gives me the flexibility to provide reliable, attentive care for your pet, whether in your home or mine.

I started pet sitting because I travel frequently and sadly can’t have my own dogs with me right now. I really miss the joy, routine, and companionship they brought into my life. Pet sitting allows me to reconnect with that while helping fellow pet owners feel at ease knowing their furry companions are in good hands.

Services I Offer:

• Dog boarding (in my home)
• House sitting (overnight care in your home)
• Dog walking (typically 2–3 walks per day, 20–30 minutes each)
• Feeding, playtime, and companionship
• Oral medication administration (based on experience with my own dogs)
• Reinforcing existing training routines (no formal training offered)
• Basic grooming support like paw cleaning or brushing (no professional grooming)

About My Home:

I live alone in a quiet apartment with a secure terrace (no backyard). Pets will be indoors and taken for walks as needed. They’re welcome to relax on the sofa, nap in a cozy spot, or sleep in their own bed. I only board one dog at a time to provide personalized care, unless previously agreed and the dogs are known to be friendly with each other.

Availability & Supervision:

I mostly work from home, so your pet will have my company throughout the day.

• During dog boarding: Pets are never left alone for more than 2–3 hours (in line with Pawshake’s policy).
• During daycare: Pets will not be left alone for more than 1 hour.
• I may step out briefly (e.g., to the gym), but I always plan around your pet’s comfort and needs.
• Weekends: I’m happy to help, but let’s discuss in advance as I may have plans.
  

If I’m house sitting at your place, I’ll be with your pet 24/7, providing full supervision and respectful care of your home.
