I am a 30-year old lawyer living next to the Vondelpark with my boyfriend.
I grew up with dogs in Finland (my family had two Labradors) and have always had a strong connection with dogs and see them as life companions. I have also experience with raising and training Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and have had the privilege to baby sitting many different dogs via Pawshake ☺ As a Finnish person, I also love nature and spending time outside.
I and my boyfriend don’t have any animals at the moment. We were considering taking a dog for a long time but decided to postpone it as we will be moving to New York this August. Until that time we would be happy and excited to be able to enjoy the company of these curious, smart and loving animals while helping out owners.
Our apartment is spacious which means that we can easily accommodate bigger dogs as well. We don’t have an outside space (apart from the balconies) but our apartment is at the side of Vondelpark which makes it easy to take walks in the park through out the day, making sure that your dog can have enough time outside.
I work currently part time (Mon, Wed and Fri) and work from home which makes my agenda very flexible.
During our weekends we love to take walks, hang in the park, drive into the beach or woods to walk and spent some relaxed time home. We also have a habbit of always taking a walk after eating. This means that the dog will get 3+ walks per day and gets to spent a lot of time with us (regardless of whether it’s weekend or not).
I am really interested in different dog training methods and have read multiple dog training books (by the monks of new skate, Z. George, B. McMillan etc). I also understand that every owner has its own preferences and am happy to discuss these in advance to make sure that your dog can feel comfortable at our home. At our place dogs are usually welcome to sit on the coach and sleep with us in the bedroom (preferably) next to the bed. However, if your dogs are used to different rules at home, let us know and we can surely accomodate that.
I and my boy friend (who also loves dogs) are looking forward to hearing from you!

Miranna is an amazing dog sitter. We selected her because of the excellent reviews and it turned out that she is even better than described. Because of the distance we could not meet in person but Miranna suggested a phone call so we could discuss the habits of our dog. We left our dog Sensi for the first time with someone else but she felt comfortable from the beginning. She even stayed the night. Miranna kept us updated through photos. So don’t hesitate and book Miranna. You and your dog will be happy.
I believe Miranna must have some dog-genes somehow. My dog was immediately swooned by her, presenting her belly in no time in a non-submissive way but rather in full trust-mode. She has separation anxiety so it’s a huge relief she approved of Miranna so quickly. Miranna adores dogs of all shapes and sizes. Quick to respond and lives right in front of the Vondelpark.
