Hi there! I'm Scott, a British expat based in Amsterdam with my girlfriend Katie who is also from the UK. We live next door to Westerpark, with lots of beautiful and peaceful walking routes. We joined Pawshake because we are passionate animal lovers, and would love to meet new furry friends, we see this more as something we love doing than a job. 😀

We often work from home so we can attend to your dog or cat whenever they need, and can adjust our schedule to fit their needs. We prefer to book 1 dog or cat at a time so we can ensure that our time and quality of care is up to the highest standards. 🐶

We are happy to accomodate a nice play day for your dog, whether they like to go to their favorite dog parks, long walks, or just chill and cuddle in the house. We understand all dogs have different personalities and needs, so we are happy to follow your instructions and schedule to make your pup feel as comfortable as possible. We hope we can make your dog's staycation a special and memorable retreat! 🐶

We both like having a cat around us and have enough love and cuddles to give! 🐈 ☺️ We also both like to play with your cat when they are playful. We accept a maximum of 1 booking at a time, but if you have multiple cats, we can also take in two (or more) cats at the same time. 🐈 🐈

❤️About Us

My name is Scott, 33 years old and from Scotland, UK. I live with my English girlfriend Katie, who is 32. I am a keen walker, I walk at least 10-12k steps a day so and would love to bring a dog with me. I love all animals, and grew up with our family boxer named Murphy. 🐶

Katie is a huge cat lover, and used to foster cats whilst she lived abroad in Hong Kong. She would take them in for 1-2 months before they were rehomed permanently, looking after a variety of breeds and personalities.

We have a newborn son and we are keen to have dogs and cats around for his development too! Although for the time being we'd prefer to take in smaller/mid size dogs whilst he is still so small himself. We feel we can still give plenty of love and attention to a furry friend, as long as they don't mind a small human being around!

🏡 About our Home

We own our apartment in Amsterdam. Our apartment is 2 minute's walk from Westerpark, very handy for any dog walking that is required :) We live on the second floor but unfortunately don't have an elevator.

☀️🌷What a Day Looks Like

I work in the Energy industry and Katie is a fashion designer. Both our roles allow us to work on a hybrid basis and therefore are often at home during the day, and are able to take lots of play breaks and also walk your dog however many times as they need.

If we have a cat, then it would only be alone for maximum 1 hour in a day if we were both out at the same time for any reason.

We are responsible and conscientious people and would love to take care of & enjoy the company of your furry friends :) Please do not hesitate to get in touch with any questions!
