Lorinda

Hoi! My name is Lorinda and I recently moved to Amsterdam from sunny Cape Town, South Africa with my partner Carel, a financial analyst.

I recently decided to change my career and will be starting my graphic design bachelor's at United pop Amsterdam in October. I am no longer working from home with my other part-time job during the week, but have found that my schedule still suits the needs of many pets' with the house sitting. I am still able to tend to their needs and play and give them ample attention.

I decided to do pet sitting because of my love for animals and prior flexible schedule and have grown to love it even more than I originally thought. I grew up in an animal-loving family therefore I grew up taking care of a variety of animals dogs, cats, hamsters and rabbits. Not only do I have experience as a pet parent, but I have taken care of pets of family and friends. I can feed, change water and litter, play with, and give lots of love to your pet while you are away. I have experience sitting for pets that need medication or extra care as well. I take my time and make sure your pet is safe and comfortable. People tell me I have a calm energy, and animals generally like me. I really enjoy being around all animals, but cats are my favourite. I live by Rembrandt plein, very central and close to many parks like Vondel park.

When you leave your pet with me you won't have to worry about him/her getting enough love. And if you want, I'm happy to send daily pictures to help you stay connected.
