Hi! My name is Mathilde (24 years old), I'm a true pet lover. I am currently doing my master degree at Erasmus University. I was born in Brussels and moved to the Netherlands 6 years ago. I speak French, English and Spanish.

I have over 5 years of experience as a dog sitter. I can take care of dogs which are still being trained, as I have myself trained two dogs in the past. Over the summer I usually volunteer as a foster mom for dogs with special needs. For this reason, I am comfortable with shy, moody or 'difficult' pets. I believe that, just like us, every pet has his or her own character and past and I am a very patient person who respect the animal's boundaries. I am also experienced in administering cats and dogs all sort of medication if needed (diabetes injections, oral medication, creams, teeth cleaning, etc.). I have myself had two dogs who passed away at age 13 and 14 and took care of many senior pets over the last few years so I am very much at easy with old dogs and cats.

I live on the ground floor which means that older pets do not have to go up any stairs and have a free access to the little (fully fenced) garden at anytime. I also live close to 3 different parks, here in Rotterdam.

Being a master student means that I spend a lot of time at home studying. Hence, when I petsit animals in my own apartment they are never left on their own for more than an hour. We play, go for walks, cuddle. I can also come to your house if this is prefered.

As a god owner/mama myself, I know how hard it can be to have to trust someone with your furry friend. For this reason, I always send pictures and updates on what we have been up to during the day. I can assure you that your dog will be cared for as if it was my own. I make no difference between my dog and my little holidayers. There is no off-limit spaces at home, the dog can go wherever he or she pleases.

Running around with dogs is my favourite calorie burning method! However, I always adapt my methods to the profile of the pet I sit. I can go on very long walks and run in the park with a young energetic dog or go on 4 or 5 small walks with an older pet.

At home I live with my little Chihuahua mix named Lily. She is extremely social and loves the company of small and big dogs. She is sterilized so I can take care of your little boy as well as your female dogs. Every dog I ever sit got along really well with Lily, she loves having friends to play with.
