Hello, my name is Shu. My husband Ed and I, we are huge animal and nature lovers for a long time. Together with my husband, we have managed a dive resort and run diving trips in South East Asia for the past 14 years. And where possible we have cared for one or more cats and dogs.

What we always will remember is the fun we had with the cats and dogs. There was always something that made us laugh. But also the love and care we gave and the concern and responsibility we felt is something very special. Isn't it super nice and heart warming that a cat or a dog is waiting for you when you come home or when it comes to cuddle up to you? To feel animal love is something really beautiful.

As of March 2024 we are back in Amsterdam living in an apartment close to het Vondelpark and het Sarphatipark.  

I am pretty much always available to take care of your cat(s) and/or dog(s) during midweek time, even in the evenings, because we both have marketing and communication jobs working from our home office. I could even work at the pet sitting address if there's WiFi available. I am also more than happy to free up my weekends, if needed. My husband loves to help me out taking care of the pets, so I am quit flexible.  

As a nature lover, I would love to take care of your plants (indoor and outdoor) and I don't mind to take care of your post as well. 

We don't have a car, so I can't pick up your dog for a walk. But I would love to walk your dog in your dog's neighborhood for at least 30 minutes per walk. If you are living close to the Vondelpark (or any other park), I can even combine the walk with my daily running activity.

When we had cats and dogs before, we had to give them oral medication or by injection. Currently I am taking care of a diabetes cat once a week, so I have experience with giving cats insuline.

We also had a very anxious cat, but with a lot of patience, love and care, we managed to change him into a very sweet and cute little cat.

We were foster parents for a traumatized cat from a shelter as of mid July 2024. By offering him a calm, peaceful and above all loving environment, he changed into the cutest sweatheart. After 4 months we managed to find him a fine forever home.
