I love animals. Truly. To my bone. I have worked as an assistant in a veterinarian's office, grooming, and staffed a boarding kennel. Personally, I have rescued 3 dogs and 2 cats so far (not all at the same time!). I have worked with skittish cats, reactive dogs, and goofy clowns who want nothing more than to warm your lap in between walks or play. I enjoy getting to know each animal and paying attention to their communication to the best of my ability. 

My goal is to make sure that your pet feels as comfortable as possible while you're away. Hopefully, that also makes you comfortable while you need to be away. 

Working with animals with special needs is no trouble, and I have experience administering medications, but let's chat and meet to discuss the specifics to keep them safe and make sure everyone understands their needs. 

Human languages: I'm fluent in English and conversant in German. My Spanish is a bit basic, but we can make it work. I'm learning Dutch, but cannot yet work solely in this language. If you're reading this with a translator, that's okay, just make sure to translate instructions into English for me too, and we'll chat with a translation app.
