Hello! I am a social science researcher and animal lover. I grew up with two cats, a bunny, and a lovebird named Paulie. I lived for 10 years in Istanbul, the best city for cat lovers in the world where communal cats live and are taken care of on every street corner (check out the documentary "Kedi"). I now live in Haarlem with my partner and our two cats, Jenna (from Istanbul) and Nikos (from Rhodes).

I have taken care of friend's pets when they have gone on vacation and have enjoyed it so much that I would love to meet and take care of yours. I have a very genuine love and connection with animals. Both of my own cats are rescues with special medical needs, so I have experience with medicines and paying special attention to the needs of our furry friends.

I would genuinely love the opportunity to take care of your beloved pets, and believe my strength is my communication! I approach every pet as an unique individual and personslity and meet them where they are.

About the services I offer:

• In this current period I am available at all hours of the day: morning, afternoon, evening, even night. With my electric bike I am flexible and can go all around Haarlem.
• For home visits: I am happy to spend as much time as you need per visit with your furry friends. I'll spend a minimum of 30 minutes per visit, not just feeding them, but talking to them, playing them, and giving them a pet or cuddle if they wish. I'd also be happy to water your plants, collect mail, and even vacuum if you're away for a long time. I also have lots of experience in giving kitties and doggies medicine as my own pets have some special health concerns.
• For dog walking: I love being outside and taking walks, so this would be a joy for me. Depending on your house location, I'd love to take them quieter, wider areas like parks, along the Spaarne, or the Hout, or anywhere else you wish.
• For house sitting: I would be happy to also stay in your home if you'd like your pets to have constant attention. I ensure doors and windows are locked at all times, using any alarm or security system exactly as you wish, and being mindful of who has access to the property. I do not share location or travel details publicly and will promptly report any issues or irregularities to the homeowner.
